Painters Tape Tutorial

When I set this blog up  I knew that I wanted my first tutorial to be on the Painter's Tape Technique. I've been seeing it all over the internet. I was not sure what type of project until this morning when I saw all the 9/11 memorials in my facebook feed.

Supplies Needed:

Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler and Midnight Muse
Watercolor paper
Ink: Cherry Cobbler ,Midnight Muse,Jet Black Staz On and White Craft Ink
Stamps: ABC-123 Outline Alphabet & Numbers
Tools: Big Shot,Star thinlet, aqua painter
Other: Painter's Tape. I used  Scotch 3M Blue

First , stamp USA in the right  corner of the water color paper with Staz On Ink ( Jet Black)

Next you'll need ink and Painter's Tape
I used Scotch 3M Brand. I torn each piece in half lengthwise
LAy the tape across the ink and run your finger across the tape.Press lightly and then peel tape off. Next, lay the tape on the watercolor paper at an angle. Rub your finger over the tape to transfer the color and then peel the tape off.
While the White craft ink is drying. Cut out some stars using the star thinliet from the round thinlet. Assemble your card. I used Stampin' Dimensionals® under the stars.

This is what the card looks like with uncolored lettesr
On this card I used the Aqua Painter and colored the letters with Chery Cobbler and Midnight Muse.

I hope you enjoyed my first tutorial because I really enjoy sharing what I love !
