New at SU: Gift Card Holders

New at SU: Gift Card Holders

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin! Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin! with creative paper-crafting ideas to share with you. Today, we are featuring Gift Card Holders.

It's the same thing every year. I shop and wrap and think I'm all ready but then I realize I never picked up the gift cards. So I send my husband for the gift cards and I whipped out a few holders. That's why my favorite gift card holder is quick, easy, and economical.

I love this holder because you can get 3 bases out of one sheet of 8 1/2 by 11 cardstock and then you can make them super simple or really fancy. I tend to make mine simple because my son and my nephews are more interested in the gift card than the packing.

For the cardstock base, you'll cut 3 bases each will be 8 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches.

Score on the long side at 2 inches and then flip and score the opposite end at 2 1/2 inches.

Put some tear and tape on the 2 1/2 inch flap, on the sides to make the pocket.

I used the Painted Christmas Designers Series Paper. Cut 1 piece of each size.

I stamped the leaves and Berries with the Christmas Season stamp Set and the sentiment is from the Ringed with Nature stamp Set.

I stamped the dog with the Christmas Scottie Stamp set and used the coordinating punch. I used a Light Cherry Cobbler alcohol ink Blends Marker for the collar

I used the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder to cut and emboss a piece of Soft Suede Cardstock. I stamped the flower with Poppy Parade. I colored the rhinestones with a Daffodil Delight Blends Alcohol Ink Marker.

New At SU : Ringed with Love Fun Fold

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin! Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin! with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today, we are featuring Fun/ Fancy Fold Cards.

I chose a very simple fun fold. You start with a regular top fold card, 11 inches by 4 1/4 inches, and score it at 5 1/2 inches and then you cut 1 inch off of each side.

I used Evening Evergreen for my card base and 2 pieces of Designers Series Paper(DSP) from the Rings of Love DSP. This DSP is a FREE gift with qualifying purchase during Sale-A-Bration so it is while supplies last or August 31, 2022 Whichever comes first

You will need two pieces that are 3/4 inch by 5 1/4 inch for the side panels and 1 piece that is 2 inches by 5-1/4 inches for the middle panel, and 1 Very Vanilla panel that is 2 inches by 5 1/4.

For the front of the card, I ran a piece of Soft Suede Cardstock through the Stamp' Cut and Emboss machine in the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing folder. I stamped the ringed image on a piece of very Vanilla with Soft Suede Ink and die-cut it. I daubed the edges of both pieces with some Soft Suede ink to give them some depth.  I fussy cut the butterfly and the mushrooms from the DSP

For the sentiments, I used the Charming Sentiments stamp set and the coordinating Silhouette dies. The inside sentiment is stamped in Evening Evergreen. I used another butterfly that I fussy cut from the DSP

New At SU: Simply Sale-a-Bration!

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin! Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin! with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today, we are featuring Sale-A-Bration products and we are #simplestamping using only stamps, ink, and paper and ONE accessory OR tool (not both)... and at least one of those items is a Sale-a-Bration product.

 # Simplestamping is a lot harder than it sounds! When you have a craft room full of tools and accessories that you want to use. It's a lot harder than it sounds. I made 6 different cards using various Sale-A-Bration products before I created one that was simple.

The Sale-A-Bration product that I used is the Wonderful World Stamp Set and Designer Series Paper. Remember Sal-A-Bration products are FREE with a qualifying purchase and they are limited to while supplies last or August 31, 2022, whichever comes first

I stamped the background on a thick Basic White cardstock using Starry Sky Classic Stampin' Ink. I used the Deckled Rectangles dies to cut a piece of Starry Sky cardstock and a smaller piece of Basic White

After I stamped the flower image with Starry Sky ink, I stamped a second image and fussy cut the top of the flower and popped it up with a dimensional.

For my second card, I used a piece of the Wonderful World DSP. I used the Sending Dies from the Sending Smiles bundles to cut my sentiment and sentiment strip.

New at SU: Sending Smiles In Colors

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin! Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin! with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today, we are showcasing the new  Stampin' Up! 2022-2024 In-Colors. Every year when Stampin' Up! introduces their new annual catalog they also debut a collection of 5 new In-Colors. This year I immediately fell in love with all the new colors. That has never happened before. I always have one favorite but this year I love them all!!

I used the new Sending SMiles stamp set to create this card and 3 of the new colors. The base is Parakeet Party with a layer of the new In-color Designer Series Paper(DSP) I ran the Basic White through the die-cut machine so I would have a little stitching on the edge and then I used my Stamparatus to get the perfect placement of my stamps. Since this Birthday card is for my mom I have to add a little Bling because my mom loves the Bling! I used the new In- Color dots and the Brass Butterflies

I love the new Limited Edition Stamp set. I will probably stamp every envelope I sed with the Paper Hug from Me stamp.

This is a card I created for my mom for Mother's Day I used the New Tahitian Tide cardstock and Ink and a small piece of the  DSP

To give my card a little more visual interest I used the Stitched Hismy dies for the stitching on the mat. I stamped the Sunflower  from the Celebrating Sunflowers Stamp Set in TT on so saffron and cut it out, then I layer a basic white scalloped flower die cut and popped the center up with a dimensional
