Stampin' Up CASE-ing Tuesday

 Stampin' Up CASE-ing Tuesday

I made this card for CASE-ing. CASE-ing Tuesday is a Facebook group that CASEs (copy) cards from the Stampin' Up! catalog every Tuesday.  We change nothing, a little or a lot depending on the card.  CASE-ing is a great way to try new styles and improve stamping.

This is the card from the Stampin' Up! catalog.

This is the sketch we worked from
The card in the sample uses my favorite embossing folder from the January - June 2020 Mini Catalog , the coastal weave 3d emboss folder. I was so sad to see it on the retirement list today. I used the same color for my base as the sample, Bermuda Bay, but it looks like a different color that happens sometimes depending on the lighting used during photography. I love the way the Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight look on the Bermuda Bay.
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope that my cards will inspire you to take a look at all the fabulous products Stampin' Up!  has to offer and to do something creative today.

Stampin' Up! Ornate Style Flowers

Ornate Style for Freshly Made Sketches 431

I love the new Ornate layers dies that are part of the Ornate Garden Suite. I have been playing around with them and using them for almost every new card creation. So I knew as soon as I saw this sketch what I would be doing with the big rectangle. I die cut a mat from Whisper White card stock.

I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock and then I colored it with the Stampin Blends. I stamped the image twice so I could fussy cut some of the flowers

I used the Subtle Textured Impressions Dynamic  Embossing folder to give my card base a little texture. I stamped my sentiment in Gorgeous Grape on Highland  Heather cardstock.  After I assembled my card I decided to add a little bling with the faceted gems and some pearls.

Thanks for visiting my blog today. I hope I have inspired you to do something creative today. If you live in the USA and need a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I will be happy to help you.
