New at SU! Blog Hop Sweet Little Stockings

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. This month we are featuring Holiday projects. Get ready to see some amazing projects!

For my cards, I choose my favorite holiday, Christmas!! And I decided to use my favorite new Christmas product suite, Sweet Little Stockings.

I love this suite. The Sweet Stockings Designers Series Paper makes it so easy to create a cute, quick, and easy card and the stockings dies and Jolly Felt are perfect for making stockings to fill with adorable dogs and cats.

For my first card, I decided to use non-traditional Christmas colors instead of the usual red and green. My card base is pool party cardstock and the mat is the 2021-2023 In-color Polished Pink. I used the Scalloped Contours dies to cut the mat.

I started my stamping by creating a mask so that I could get the animals stamped inside the stockings.
I stamped the cat and dog head on a post-it note and fussy cut them. I stamped the animal heads on the Basic White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then I put the mask over them and stamped the stockings.

I used Stampin' Blends and Stampin' Write Markers to color my images.

My second card is a fun fold card that was fun to make but hard to capture in a photo

I used the traditional Christmas colors and the adorable Sweet Stockings Designer Series paper.

Here is a little video clip to show the fold.

To make the fold score a 8 1/2 by 11 piece of cardstock in the portrait position at 4 1/4 and in the portrait position at 5 1/2. After scoring cut the bottom left corner off.

New at SU Blog Hop Harvest Meadow Suite

New at SU Blog Hop: Masculine Cards

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. This month we are featuring Masculine Cards. Get ready to see some amazing projects!

I needed some masculine cards because October is Pastor appreciation month and my church is celebrating. I choose to use my favorite suite from the newest mini catty, the Harvest Meadow Suite.  I love the new Cork Specialty paper and the sentiment in the Nature's Harvest stamp set was perfect for the occasion

I used the 2020-2022 In-Colore Misty Moonlight cardstock for my card base and I put a layer of Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper as the next layer. I made a frame from the cork specialty paper and I cut a different piece of the Designer Series Paper(DSP) for inside the frame

I used the Stitched Rectangles dies to create the frame and for the sentiment, because they added just a little extra detail.  used the Harvest dies that coordinate with the Nature's Harvest stamp set to die cut some foliage.

Please contact your Stampin’ Up! demonstrator if you have any questions or to make a product purchase. I would be happy to answer any questions about the products or the techniques shown here. Stampin' Up! Sweet Stockings

Stampin' Up! Sweet Stockings for FMS # 507

Today's card is for the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.  I decide to use the Sweet Stocking Sweet for this card because I love the adorable cats and dogs in this suite.

My card is a standard A2 size and is made from Cherry Cobbler cardstock. The first layer is Old Olive card stock, and then I added a layer of Sweet Stockings Designers Series Paper (DSP)

I die-cut some images from a separate piece of the DSP and used dimensionals to put them on some die-cut cardstock.

The sentiment I used is from the Sweet Little Stocking stamp set. It is stamped with Old Olive ink.I added Matte Decorative Dot from the Sweet Stockings Suite.

I always have so much fun creating a card for the Challenges at Freshley Made Sketches. Anyone can enter a card. You can see all the other entries at Freshly Made Sketches.

Stampin' Up! Seasons of Fun

Seasons of Fun for #FMS 506

I love a sketch challenge. For this one, I decided to use Season of fun, an exclusive stamp set, available only to hostesses or as Stampin Rewards. This set is so adorable and it's fun to color.

When I first saw the sketch I thought I would use 3 strips of Designers Series Paper but I couldn't find one I liked with this stamp set so I decided to stamp 3 rows of leaves instead.

I used the Tasteful Textiles 3D embossing folder to add a little subtle texture and I used some Granny Apple Green pastel chalk around the rim of the circle to help it stand out a little.

NEW AT SU Blog Hop Sweet Stockings Suite

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. This month we are featuring products from the July-December Mini catalog. Get ready to see some amazing projects feature Stampin' UP's

I fell in love with the Sweet Stockings Suite as soon as I saw it. The cats and dogs are so adorable and I love the new jolly felt. It is so easy to die cut!

My card is a pinwheel tower card. I love the way this card has multiple panels so I can use all my favorite products.

When I first started seeing Pinwheel Tower cards on Pinterest, I searched YouTube and watched some videos. I really like the ones from Linda Heller. She showed different sizes. I choose to make a standard A2 size card so it would fit in Stampin' Up! envelopes.

To make the tower, I used a piece of 4 1/4 by 4 1/4 Designers series paper. No need to use cardstock for this part because it just adds extra weight to the card. I score the paper at 1,2,3 and 4 inches. I used my bone folder to get nice crisp creases. I used a piece of Tear Tape on the smallest flap to make the tower.

After I made the tower I some Old Olive cardstock into 4 pieces. Each piece is 2 3/4 by 4 1/4 and then I adhered them to the tower. Next came the best part,  decorating each panel!

My favorite panel has a stocking and a hat that I die cut from the Jolly felt. It cuts so easily. I stamped the dog in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and color it with the Stampin' Blends. I was trying to make her look like my sweet little doggie.

For the next panel, I just used some of the Sweet Stockings Designers Series Paper(DSP) with a simple sentiment because I didn't want to cover up all the adorable dogs and cats.

I stamped, colored, and die cut a few presents.

For the final panel, I fussy cut the beautiful dog from the DSP and added a sentiment.
