New at SU: Gift Card Holders
Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin! Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin! with creative paper-crafting ideas to share with you. Today, we are featuring Gift Card Holders.
It's the same thing every year. I shop and wrap and think I'm all ready but then I realize I never picked up the gift cards. So I send my husband for the gift cards and I whipped out a few holders. That's why my favorite gift card holder is quick, easy, and economical.
I love this holder because you can get 3 bases out of one sheet of 8 1/2 by 11 cardstock and then you can make them super simple or really fancy. I tend to make mine simple because my son and my nephews are more interested in the gift card than the packing.
For the cardstock base, you'll cut 3 bases each will be 8 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches.
Score on the long side at 2 inches and then flip and score the opposite end at 2 1/2 inches.
Put some tear and tape on the 2 1/2 inch flap, on the sides to make the pocket.
I used the Painted Christmas Designers Series Paper. Cut 1 piece of each size.
