New At SU! Designer Series Paper Blog Hop

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. This month the theme is Designers Series Paper (DSP). Get ready to see some amazing projects feature Stampin' UP's beautiful DSP and best of all many of the Designers Series Paper that we are showcasing are on sale.

For my cards I am featuring THe Bloom Were You're Planted DSP.  The foliage on this paper is gorgeous! And like all of Stampin' Up's Designers Series Paper it coordinates beautifully with their cardstock and embellishments. I love how easy they make it coordinate the colors. On the back of every pack of DSP there is a list of coordinating colors. I choose to use the Evening Evergreen and Just Jade cardstock.

When I saw this beautiful paper I thought it would be perfect for a set of one sheet wonder cards. So I went online and found a template for 12 by 12 paper and I chopped a piece up and started creating cards. I made 8 cards and today I am showing you 2 of them

The new Scalloped Contours Dies make it so quick and easy to create this beautiful mat and the tag I used for the sentiment. The flower pot was fussy cut from the DSP

I really like the die in the set that lets you make a beautiful scalloped edge. I cut the first edge on the card base and then layered 2 more on top of it.

Please contact your Stampin’ Up! demonstrator if you have any questions or to make a product purchase. I would be happy to answer any questions about the products or the techniques shown here. If you live in the USA and do not have a demonstrator, please contact me and I'll be happy to help with your Stampin' Up! purchase. New at SU! - Bloom Where You're Planted

BLOOM WHERE YOU'RE PLANTED

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. This month we will be featuring our favorite suites from the new  Stampin' Up! 2021-2022 annual catalog.

I choose the Bloom Where You're Planted Suite feature on pages 80-81 of the catalog. My card was inspired by one of the samples pictured on page 80. In the catalog, it is a small notecard, but when I saw it I immediately thought fun fold card. So I CASE'd the notecard and used it as the front flap on my card with a few minor changes.

For the catalog sample, they heat embossed the paper lattice with white embossing powder. I only wanted to change the color a little so I sponged frost white paint over the paper for a very subtle change.

Cutting & Scoring Dimensions for Joy Fold Card:

Large Card Base = 4 1/4" x 8 1/4", score at 5 1/2" on long side.

DSP layer for inside of Large Card Base = 5 1/4" x 4"

DSP layers for outside & inside of left flap on Large Card Base = 2 1/2" x 4"

Small Card Base = 3" x 8", score at 4" on long side, fold in half. Fold will be on right side for Joy Fold Card.

DSP layer for small card base = 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"

Basic White layer for inside of small card base = 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"

NEW AT SU- Hydrangea Hill

NEW AT SU- Blog Hop  Hydrangea Hill

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. This month we will be featuring products from the  January-June 2021 Mini catalog

My projects will all be featuring the Hydragan Hill Suite of Products. This suite is so AMAZING!  So glad Stampin' Up! has that easy suite order feature where you only have to enter one code number to get the complete suite because I just had to have every product in this suite.

For my first card, I used the Hydrangea Haven stamp set. I die cut a circle and adhere it to the white card base with some temporary adhesive Then I used the new blending brushes to create the background. Once I finished sponging I removed the circle and stamped the images using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I color the image with the Stampin Blends Alcohol  Ink markers.

I used the same technique for my second card but instead of coloring the image I die cut the flowers and adhered them with some Tombow Mono glue and then I added a bow made from the Gorgeous Grape 3/8 Sheer ribbon.

For my final card, I used some of the beautiful Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper (DSP)  The paper is in beautiful shades of purple and blue. For this card, I used a Gorgeous Grape card base.  I colored the image with Highland Heather, Misty MoonlightSeaside spray, and Gorgeous grape.

The outside of the card is simple and subtle but then you open it up and a surprise pops up.

Measurements:

Gorgeous Grape Cardstock:
5 1/2 X 8 1/2
White : 3 1/4 X 4 1/4 and 1 X 11 (scored at 2 3/4, 5 1/2,
8 1/4)
DSP: 3 X 4 and 2 X 5 1/2

Please contact your Stampin’ Up! demonstrator if you have any questions or to make a product purchase. I would be happy to answer any questions about the products or the techniques shown here. NEW AT SU- Woodland Wonder

 NEW AT SU Blog Hop
 Woodland Wonder and Darling Donkeys

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. This month we will be featuring products from the  Sale-A-Bration brochure.
It's the most wonderful time of the year at Stampin' Up!  It's Sale-A-Bration!! We have a brochure full of goodies that you can get FREE with purchase. I am featuring 2 cards today. One is made with a stamp set that can be purchased the other is made with 2 of the exclusive Sale-A-Bration products that are available for a limited time.

My first card features the Woodland Wonder stamp set. I love the adorable little animals in this set!
As soon as I saw it I knew I would be making a fun fold card. When this card is closed you only see the top of the tree.

But when you open it, you see all the adorable little animals.

Measurements
Base: 5 1/2 by 11
Score at 4 1/4 and 7 5/8
Inside Layer
5 by 10 1/2
Score at 4 and 7 3/8

My 2nd card features the Darling Donkeys! That's the name of the stamp set and they really are darling.
I got the idea for this card from a group I am in, the Proverbial Stampers. We are having our events online and this was one of the make and takes in my pack. I made a few changes to the original sample.

I used a black marker to ink my stamp so I could omit the rose that is in the donkey's mouth and add the ballon. I used the balloon string from the Woodland Wonders set.

I love the beautiful Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper and getting it for FREE was wonderful!

Please contact your Stampin’ Up! demonstrator if you have any questions or to make a product purchase. I would be happy to answer any questions about the products or the techniques shown here. New at SU! Lots to Celebrate

New at SU! Lots to Celebrate

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you.

This month's theme is Warm and Cozy. We will be showing you how products from the August to December 2020 mini catalog can be used over and over again. can be used to ring in the new year, show some love, and keep warm and cozy crafting at home. cozy at home!

For my projects, I'll be featuring the Lots to Celebrate stamp set. This is an incredibly versatile set that can be used for many different holidays. I'll be showing a card for Christmas and one for Valentine's Day.

                       Season's Greeting

I love mason jars so I knew as soon as I saw these Mason Jar Shaker domes and the Jar punch in the 2020 Annual Catalog I would be getting them. I was thrilled to see another stamp set that coordinates with them in the Fall 2020 mini catty.  I used the dome s to make my card a shaker card because I wanted a snow globe effect.

I used the snowflake sequins to make it look like it's snowing over my trees.

                         Sending Hugs

Once Christmas is over you can still use this stamp set because the jar can be filled with hearts, stars, leaves, and snowflakes. This is a very versatile set that can be used for birthdays, celebrations, and more. My second card is a Valentine's Day card.

I filled my mason jar with hearts to represent sending hugs.

Please contact your Stampin’ Up! demonstrator if you have any questions or to make a product purchase. I would be happy to answer any questions about the products or the techniques shown here.
