Welcome to our NEW AT SU!
Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world
who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today, we
are showcasing retiring products from the 2019 - 2020 Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog.
It's never easy to say good-bye, but knowing that in a few weeks Stampin' Up! will be debuting a new annual catalog full of brand new goodies makes it so much easier. I'm featuring several of my favorite retiring products. I love the Bird Ballad Designers Paper (DSP) and the stamp set it coordinates with the Free as a Bird set. I am happy the stamp set is not retiring but I am going to miss this paper. I always buy a few extra packs of my favorite retiring DSP. I used the DSP on the card and to line the envelope.
I used the Hold onto Hope Stamp set, the coordinating Cross of Hope dies and the Stitched Labels dies for the card. For the envelope, I used the Beautiful Layers dies to die cut the envelope liner from the DSP. I love to line my envelopes. I think it gives the extra special touch.
I cut the standard A2 size side fold card base and I fold the front back and scored it to give it a crisp edge. I adhered a piece of DSP to the flap and a 5 1/4 by 4-inch piece to the inside.
I stamped the solid cross image with Coastal Cabana Classic Stampin' Ink and layer a cross that I die cut from silver foil paper on top of it.
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope that my cards will inspire you to take a look at all the fabulous products Stampin' Up! has to offer and to do something creative today.
Please contact your Stampin’ Up! demonstrator if you have any questions or to make a product purchase. I would be happy to answer any questions about the products or the techniques shown here. If you live in the U.S. and do not have a demonstrator, please contact me and I would be happy to help you. Before you hop on please take the time to leave me a comment. I love hearing from you!
