I made these drapery fold cards using the Parisian Blossoms Speciality Designer Paper (DSP) This paper is gorgeous, very soft, elegant colors with champagne foil accents and the Petal Pink metallic edge ribbon coordinates beautifully with it.
To make the drapery fold, I cut a piece of the DSP to 4 3/4 by 10. I put a tick mark on the short end of the paper at 3/4" and then I lined the paper up in the trimmer with the tick mark on the cutting grove and the opposite point on the grove and then I cut it.
I scored the paper at 2,3,5,6,8, and 9 inches and accordian folded it.
I used tear and tape between the pleats and to adhere it to the base.
I used the Petal Pink Metallic edge ribbon and made a faux bow.
A faux bow is when you do not wrap the ribbon around the whole card and tie it but you adhere it only to the front. I used glued dots on the ends of the ribbon to stick it to the drapery fold before I adhered it to the base and then I cut a short piece of ribbon and tied it in a knot on the ribbon.
I added a few pearls because I like a little bling!
