Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin! Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin! with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today, we are featuring Fun/ Fancy Fold Cards.
I chose a very simple fun fold. You start with a regular top fold card, 11 inches by 4 1/4 inches, and score it at 5 1/2 inches and then you cut 1 inch off of each side.
I used Evening Evergreen for my card base and 2 pieces of Designers Series Paper(DSP) from the Rings of Love DSP. This DSP is a FREE gift with qualifying purchase during Sale-A-Bration so it is while supplies last or August 31, 2022 Whichever comes first
You will need two pieces that are 3/4 inch by 5 1/4 inch for the side panels and 1 piece that is 2 inches by 5-1/4 inches for the middle panel, and 1 Very Vanilla panel that is 2 inches by 5 1/4.
For the front of the card, I ran a piece of Soft Suede Cardstock through the Stamp' Cut and Emboss machine in the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing folder. I stamped the ringed image on a piece of very Vanilla with Soft Suede Ink and die-cut it. I daubed the edges of both pieces with some Soft Suede ink to give them some depth. I fussy cut the butterfly and the mushrooms from the DSP
For the sentiments, I used the Charming Sentiments stamp set and the coordinating Silhouette dies. The inside sentiment is stamped in Evening Evergreen. I used another butterfly that I fussy cut from the DSP
