Card 2 for the #SU1to3paperchallenge

Yesterday, I showed you a quick and easy card I  made for the #SU1to3paperchallenge

The  challenge is to :

"Just use one main stamp set, one basic layout, and three very different papers and see what you come up with! Why not share it with the hashtag #SU1to3paperchallenge so we can check it out and be inspired?"

This is my 2nd card

Same stamp set, same pack of Designers Series Paper but different colors and a different look.

Card 1 for the #SU1to3paperchallenge

Quick and Easy

On Thursday, March 8, Stampin' Up! posted this challenge on their facebook page

"Just use one main stamp set, one basic layout, and three very different papers and see what you come up with! Why not share it with the hashtag #SU1to3paperchallenge so we can check it out and be inspired?"

I love a good challenge so I decided to see what I could whip up in the limited amount of time I had that day.

I choose the stamp set  Lovely Friends because I had in my planning basket to play with for future classes. I choose some Designer Series Paper (DSP) and got to work.

I started with some of the Bubbles and Fizz DSP ( only available during Sale-A-Bration 2018) I love the bright colors and cheery designs. I used just a little strip of it and then die cut a small circle to put under my smaller sentiment. 

I love the large sentiment stamps in this set. They make it very easy to make a quick and Easy card.

Stampin' Up! This Little Piggy

Lunch Box Love Notes

Put a little Love in their Life

It's amazing what you can create from your scrap box. When I am working on a project and score something incorrectly I always put the cardstock in my scrap box. This week I pulled out several pieces of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock while I was looking for something else. As soon as I saw them I  had several ideas pop into my head

My first thought was to make a peek a boo piece for a full sized card but my daughter suggest a small card that fit into the smal 3 by 3 envelopes. I loved the first card so much that I made another one with a just a few changes. These little card make great lunch box notes for a child or adult. Just write a quick message inside and stick it in their lunch.

 These little piggies are adorable. They always bring a small to my face.

I created this card first and I love the window frame but if you color with Stampin' Blends you will need to add a piece of cardstock or DSP to the backside because the blends bleed through and will show on the inside.

I left one spot bare so I can add a little note.

This Piggy does make me happy and she deserves so bright sunny colors!

This card opens from the top and also has a bare spot for the note.

These little cards are designed to fit in our 3 by 3-inch envelopes.

Measurements

Cardstock base 9" x 3". Scored at 3" and 6"

Cardstock for panels are 2 3/4 " by 2 3/4 "
