Stampin' Up! Crafting Forever for the Color Throwdown.
I love the colors in this week's Color Throw Down! As soon as I saw this I just knew I would be using 3 of my favorites colors and a new color from the Stampin" Up! 2018-2020 In-color Collection.
I was not sure what stamp set but I knew Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green and Pineapple Punch were perfect for this challenge. I love the bright, vibrant colors that were chosen for Color Throwdown 497. They just scream summer to me.
I decided to use the Crafting Forever Stamp set. I love to create crafting themed cards to send to my crafty friends and stamping customers. I added the I ❤ Stamping from the Apron of Love Stamp sets.
I stamped the scissors the pot of brushes with some Memento tuxedo black and then colored them with the Stampin' Up! Many Marvelous Markers. I added a touch of Wink Of Stelaa to the dot on the scissors and on the metal bands on the brushes.

Stampin' Up! Daisy Delight For Freshly Made Sketches Challenge 341
I love sketch challenges. I think they are easier than color challenges. I am always able to create a card I like but might not have otherwise tried if I did not have the sketch.
This sketch challenge is at Freshly Made Sketches. Their challenges are open to anyone so if you are looking for inspiration check them out and create a card from their challenge.
I choose the Daisy Delight stamp set for this challenge. I love the being able to create 3-d flowers and this set has a coordinating punch that makes it so easy to make some flowers quickly.
I used Crushed Curry cardstock for the flowers and stamped them with Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Ink.
I used the 3/8 circle punch to make the small notch for the Copper Trim.
If you would like to see more than 50 other examples of what you can do with this sketch, you can see them all at Freshly Made Sketches.

Stampin' Up! Varied Vases for Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #340
It's time for another sketch challenge. I love the ones at Freshly Made Sketches. This one has such a clean, uncluttered feel to it. For my card, I decided to use two of my favorite new colors: Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green.
I used the thick Whisper White cardstock for my card base because it is a little bit sturdier and I knew I was going to create multiple layers.
I used the Basket Weave Emboss Folder to add a little texture.
I love the bold and bright Gorgeous Grape and the Granny Apple Green colors. I added just a little of the Highland Heather with the tulips.
I used the Varied Vases Stamp set with the coordinating punch. This is a great set with so many options for creating the vases and flowers but I decided to use only one vase with the tulips to keep it simple and clean.
If you would like to see other cards made with this sketch, there are over 60 different samples at Freshly Made Sketches

Welcome to the Remarkably Creative All that's New Blog Hop
I am super happy to be joining this Blog Hop hosted by Janet Wakeland and featuring 27 incredibly talented stampers from all over the world. We will be featuring new products and new colors from the just released Stampin' Up ! 2018 Annual Catalog
I have two cards for you today because with so many new products to feature it's impossible to choose just one. I am showing off some of our beautiful new Designer Series Paper(DSP) with fun fold cards.
The card on the top is a gate fold card and the card on the bottom is a drapery fold. Both cards feature the gorgeous Designer Series Paper(DSP) from the Share What You Love DSP pack. I love these papers. The color combos are beautiful and some of them have been pearlized. This DSP is a little thicker than many of our DSP's which makes them perfect for making boxes.
For my drapery fold card, I used Blackberry Bliss for the card base. I am so excited that this former In-Color has returned to our core color collection as part of the recent color revamp. I added some of the new velvet ribbon,Artisan Pearles, and a pearlized doily
This paper pleats beautifully but because it is thicker you need to use a stronger adhesive. I used Tear and Tape between the pleats and to adhere the DSP to the card base.
Measurements for the Drapery fold card:
The card base is 5 1/2 by 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4. For the DSP, cut 4 x 11-1/2, then score at 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, and 10. Cut from the 3″ score to approx 1-3/4″ down from top right corner to make the diagonal. After you score the DSP then you pleat the paper.
My second card is a gate fold. I used the DSP from the same collection and a Mossy Meadow card base. Mossy Meadow is another color that I am very happy to see returning to our collection.
The images are from the Various Vases stamp set which has a coordinating punch.
I used the new 2018-20120 In-color Grapefruit Grove to color the flowers and then used a touch of Wink of Stella .
Measurement for the gate fold card:
Card base 4 1/4 by 11
Score at 2 3/4 and 8 1/4
For the front panels 4 by 2 1/2
If you have never made a Gate Fold card this video will show you how easy it is.
There is a complete products list for both cards at the end of the post after the blog roll.
