Stampin' Up! In the Tropics for FMS #418

Stampin' Up! In the Tropics for FMS #418

Since we moved to the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland last year, my creative juices have dried up. I decide it's time to get my groove back and what better way to do that then a sketch challenge at Freshley Made Sketches and WOW was this a challenge!

I was a bit unsure of how to cut that curve so I had my husband draw me a template and then I got started. I decided to Use the large pineapple die from the new In the Tropics dies and the new Coastal Weave 3D Emboss Folder.

I played with the Pineapple crown a bit because I wanted it to look realistic. I embossed it with the Coastal weave folder and daubed it with some Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Ink.

And I added a little pineapple to the inside

If you are in need of a challenge or just want to see what other crafters create from this sketch, head on over to Freshly Made Sketches.

Happy Stamping,

  2. That pineapple die is a perfect fit for the sketch!! (I have also used my husband to cut templates - he still has the old fashioned tools like protractors and a compass for drawing circles!) Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
