Stampin' Up! Petal Promenade

Stampin' Up Petal Promenade and Envelope Dressing

The new 2018/2019 was out for 2 months before I realized the thinlets dies that are part of the Petal Promenade suite of Products (pages106-107) included a die to make envelope liners. Duh, I don't know how I missed that. I love the way a lined envelope looks . It gives a card such a finished, professional look.!

I order the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper(DSP) as during the DSP sale this summer and I've made a lot of cards with it but I couldn't help myself. I had to create one more so I could use the gorgeous paper to line and envelope.

I really love the sentiments in this stamp set.

I used the Tufted Emboss folder to add a little texture and a ribbon for a subtle bit of bling. The 3/8 metallic edged ribbon comes in 3 colors but I choose to purchase the white because it is so versatile. I can use the Stampin' Blends alcohol ink markers or a sponge dauber and ink pad to change it to any color I want to use.

The beautiful Layers Thinlets Dies that I used to create the envelope liner is so quick and easy to use. I'll probably start lining most of my envelopes. I may even go through my scrap bin and die cut a stack of them from some of my left-over DSP.

RemARKably Creative Blog Hop: July 2018

RemARKably Creative Blog Hop: July 2018

Thanks to the Stampin' Up! Buy 3 Get 1 FREE sale, I have a huge pile of beautiful new Designer Series Paper(DSP) to enjoy. I love using DSP to create cards. It is so easy but you still get a beautiful card. For today's card, I used the beautiful Petal Promenade DSP. I only used 3 of the 6 designs so far and I have lots of ideas for what is left.

Card 1

A few layers and a little embossing and you can create a beautiful card quickly.

I embossed the card base with the new Tufted Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. For the sentiment, I used a tag from the Share What You Love embellishments kit and then I added a few of the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to give it a little bling

Card 2

I love fun fold cards. This is a double triangle fun fold card. I was inspired by a blog post by Jeanie Stark

This DSP is gorgeous and it coordinates so beautifully with the Fresh Fig and Mossy Meadow cardstock.

I love the new Pearlized Dollies. I cut a circle of mossy meadow and put it underneath and I used the Stitched frame-lits for the sentiment.

Card 3

This paper is so pretty I had a hard time cutting it. I cut three small panels ( 3 1/8 by 1 5/8) and adhered them to the card layer and then I created layered sentiment using the layering ovals and stitched frame-lits. I love these frame-lits They are quick and easy to use and a great for adding a sentiment.

If you want to create some beautiful cards quickly check out the Designers Series Paper sale!
