Stampin' Up! Ornate Style

Stampin' Up! Ornate Style for FMS430

I love a good sketch challenge because they make me think outside my box. I found this one at Freshly Made Sketches

I don't have any diamond-shaped dies cut so I tried some of my squares turned on their side but I didn't like the way they look so I decided to use the Stitched Nested Labels. Because I figure they were close enough.  I made 2 different cards but this one was my favorite. I will post the other tomorrow.

I glued a piece of the Ornate Garden  Designer Series Paper(DSP) to my card base and then I die cut it. This DSP is part of a sneak peek from the Stampin'Up! 2020 annual catalog that will be debuted in June.

The paper features a peek at one of the new 2020-2022 In Colors that will be released with the new catty. According to the DSP package, it is called Bumblebee. I am going to guess that the new color is one of the yellows. What do you think?

The stamp I used is from the Ornate Style stamp set, also a sneak peek. I used a little Wink of Stella on the centers of the flowers and added a little bling.

Since I am not sure who I am going to send this card to I choose a sentiment that could have multiple meanings. I could use this as a sympathy card or a thank you or and I love you. The Sentiment is from the Rooted in Nature stamp set.

Thanks for visiting my blog today. I hope I have inspired you to do something creative today. If you live in the USA and need a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I will be happy to help you.

If you would like to see over 60 different cards that were created using this sketch, you can see them all at Freshly Made Sketches

Do Something Creative Every Day!

Happy Stampin'
