Stampin' Up! Fable Friends for the Paper Players

Stampin' Up Fable Friends for the Paper Players

I love a good sketch challenge so I picked one from The Paper Players this week.

It's was extremely windy today at my home on the eastern shore of Maryland. It's days like these that Galestown lives up to its name because some of the wind definitely seemed like it was gale-force. Even though it 46 degrees outside the wind chill made it bitter cold. I am so ready for spring. Only 22 days!! So I brought a little spring inside with this card.

I love the Fable Friends stamp set. This sweet little squirrel is just one of the cute critters. There is also a mama goose and her goslings and a bunny. I choose Happy Spring for the sentiment but I could have just as easily chosen Easter Blessings or Darling Baby.

I used a couple of my favorite colors of cardstock. and embossed them with the basketweave embossing folder. I cut and glue the piece of cardstock to a piece of printer paper and embossed them all at the same time.

I am ready for spring, How about you? Chase those winter blues away by doing something creative every day. For a little bit of inspiration, visit The Paper Players and see what over 40 other paper crafters created with this sketch.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope that my cards will inspire you to do something creative today.

If you live in the U.S. and do not already have a demonstrator, please contact me and I would be happy to help you. Please take the time to leave me a comment. I love hearing from you!

Stampin' Up! Someone Special

Stampin' Up! Someone Special for What’s New at Stampin’ Up! Blog Hop

I am happy that you are joining us for our hop.  We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ With Exciting Ideas to share with you.  Today we will feature products from the Coordinations Products Release.

For my project, I choose the Someone Special stamp set and the matching dies.  I LOVE this stamp set so I was thrilled when I saw Stampin' Up! would be releasing coordinating dies!

I LOVE the adorable animals in this set I have already created several cards and blog about them. If you would like to see them  they are Here and Here

I used two of the flowers from the set to stamp a background. I choose my colors because they coordinate with tthe Metallic Baker's Twine & Sequins combo pack that is part of the Sal-A-Bration.  I love the way Stampin'Up! coordinates all their colors

Before I finished preparing for this Blog Hop I got an update announcing that the Metallic Twine and sequins have sold out.  Remember all Sale-A-Bration items and the coordination Products are limited and WHILE Supplies last. So if you fall in LOVE with something be sure and place an order right away.

I used the sequins for the center of the large flower and the background flower. The Assorted iridescent sequins use the same color palette and can also be used. I put a tiny dab of glue on the flower center and then used the Take Your Pick tool to help place the sequins.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope that my cards will inspire you to take a look at the fabulous product coordination products and to do something creative today.

If you live in the U.S. and do not already have a demonstrator, please contact me and I would be happy to help you. Before you hop on please take the time to leave me a comment. I love hearing from you!

Stampin' Up! Engagement Card

Stampin' Up! Color Challenge Engagement Card

It's Time for a Color Challenge. I love Color  Throwdown because it challenges me to use color combinations that I would not normally use.  Gray is a color that I normally use on sympathy cards so I challenged myself to use it and make it a celebratory card.

Thanks for visiting my blog today. If you live in the USA and need a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I will be happy to help you.

If you would like to see how 40+ crafter use this color combination, you can see them all at

Stampin' Up! Painted Poppies

Stampin' Up Painted Poppies for Freshley Made Sketches

I knew as soon as I saw the new sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches that I would be using Stampin' Up! Designers Series Paper (DSP )for the sketch challenge.

I love the colors in this Designer Series Paper but it is a bit bold so I like to use it in small amounts.

Thanks for visiting my blog today. If you live in the USA and need a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I will be happy to help you.

If you would like to see over 60 different cards that were created using this sketch, you can see them all at Freshly Made Sketches
