Spirited Snowmen for What's New at Stampin' Up! Blog Hop

Spirited Snowman for What's New at Stampin' Up! Blog Hop

Just two days until the  holiday catalog debuts.  There are so many fabulous new stamps, papers, punches and more. There is no way I could show them all to you, so I have teamed up with a group of incredibly talented stampers to showcase lots of  new products.
We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ With Exciting Ideas to share with you.
Today, we will feature products from the 2018 Holiday Stampin’ Up! catalog that debuts Wednesday, September 5th. 2018.  I know you will be inspired by all  of wonderful projects today.

My projects features 2 great new products, the Spirited Snowmen and the Detailed Baubles Thinlits dies

I love the different snowmen in this set. They are so cute. I choose to use the one that looks like he is jumping for joy. He is very excited because it's snowing! I created a shaker card for him to bouncing all around in the snow.

I used the large ,detailed framelit from the Beautiful Baubles thinlets to create a window in the front of my card. I stamped snowflakes on Whisper White Cardstock for my background. I stamped the snowman in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him with the Stampin' Blends alcohol ink markers.

I created the shaker using a window sheet and the foam adhesive strips. I added some Wink of Stella to his body and put sequins in the shaker.

I wanted the pearls on my sentiment strip to match the Highland Heather cardstock I used for the base so I used a Stampin' Blend Alcohol ink marker to color some pearls.

Project 2: Card Tin

I used the same stamps and framelits dies to create a belly band for the Red Distress Card Tin that is part of the Festive Farmhouse suite of products. This tin is big enough to hold a stacked of standard  A2 size ( 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inch ) cards. I used a strip of Festive Farmhouse Designers Series Paper for the Belly Band and Mossy Meadow Cardstock for the scalloped circle.

I love comments! Please take a moment to comment at the bottom of this post and let me know how you liked my projects or ask me a question about the technique used.  Don’t forget to scroll back up and keep hoppin’ with us!
